Tomorrows Fast - Life Ministries, Inc.

I have been in prayer lately about God’s next step for the ministry and was lead to Psalm 119: 65-72. I read it in several versions and liked the NLT best.

“You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised. I believe in Your commands; now teach me good judgment and knowledge. I used to wander off until You disciplined me; but now I closely follow Your word. You are good and do only good; teach me your decrees.” Please read the rest of the passage! Then today my friend Tom Draffin sent me a quote from Lamentations 3:22, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Gordon Hinckley once said that gratefulness is the beginning of wisdom. With this on my mind, I have been overwhelmed with gratefulness recently. God has been so good to me and my family, we are blessed beyond measure. Peggy and I talked recently about our lives together, (over 60 years) and we were reminded of all the good that God has provided, His compassions never fail, they are new every morning. I encourage you tomorrow as we fast and pray to focus on the good and the Love with which God has blessed you, name them one by one, see what God has done!!!

LIFE does not meet tonight as it is the 5^th Tuesday. We will gather Sunday at 4:00 at Summer Breeze for a service with the residents there and our next fellowship meeting is August 6^th at 7:00.
