As I prayed this morning a scripture came to mind. It is one that I learned as a song in the ’70s and it has stuck with me all these years. As we pray and fast tomorrow I suggest we focus our prayer on Washington. We need to read this scripture and focus its power on our representative in this great republic. 1 John 4: 7-8, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He that does not love does not know God, for God is love”. I have never seen such hatred toward one another in all my years of following politics. Satan is alive and well and making a mockery out of our country. Let’s come against his attack in the name and the power of Jesus because, “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” God bless you and keep you as we labor in prayer together.
LIFE members, we do not meet tonight but after our rousing discussion about church I think He wants us to look into Grace/Works on the 16th.
