Reminder

Pray for people!  One of my favorite scripture songs tells us why. At least one reason!  Peter and John were uneducated fishermen who in

Acts 3 we are told the story.  Peter and John went to pray, up to the Temple one day.  They met a lame man who held out his hand and this is what Peter did say.  Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee.  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.  Low and behold, he went walking and leaping and praising God.  The people were so amazed at this they started to stare at Peter and John, who told them it was Jesus not them who had healed the man. They then had an opportunity to preach, so they told the people, you know the one whom you killed and He rose from the dead!  They went on to quote their beloved prophets who had told them of His coming.  TMI
as they got very angry and had them arrested to stand trial for their “blasphemes lies”.  Please take a minute and re-read Acts 3.  It reminded me of how important it is to pray for people as it gives us an opportunity to tell who Jesus is.

Last Tuesday we started in the book of Jude as I told you and we were very blessed.  I highly recommend you read this book written by the brother of Jesus.

As we fast and pray tomorrow I am reminded that we must lean on His everlasting arms, safe and secure from all alarm and the craziness going on in our nation.  And please remember my admonition to pray for others, on the spot.  It will bless you and them.

LIFE does not meet tonight.  God bless you and keep you in His everlasting arms, Jim
