Boy, I have been reading of some unbelievable things going on during this scare. Churches are shutting down under the law! Well as my friend George and I have been sharing for the last year, it ain’t the buildings. It is you who are the church. The Holy Spirit lives in us when we are saved according to the promise that Jesus left us with when He returned to the Father. In my devotional today (Smith Wigglesworth), I read from 2 Thessalonians 3:3, “But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” Hallelujah! Smith goes on the say, “these are the last days, the days when Satan is having a great deal of power. But we must keep in mind that Satan has no power except as he is allowed. It is a great thing to know that God is loosing you from the world, loosing you from a thousand things. You must seek to have the mind of Christ in all things. If you don’t, you will stop His working.”
I know that God invested His Holy Spirit in me that I might live in the supernatural, so that I might be changed all the time along the lines of the supernatural. Recently I had a Christian leader say he could not work with me because I was “Pentecostal”. Well at first I was angry but in retrospect, I thought of it as a great compliment, I am not sure if he saw it in the way I lived or heard that I had been working in a Pentecostal church, but either way, it was a blessing.
I know this quarantine is a pain and there are those among us who are frightened but we must keep our eye on the prize as I said last week and remember that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. We have the victory! Tomorrow let’s pray as we fast for the ones who are not walking in our faith and those who are personally affected by the enemy. Let’s also lift up our leaders in various levels of government who are making decisions that affect us all.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom then shall I be afraid.?” Psalm 27.
LIFE does not meet tonight and we are still barred from ministering at Summer Breeze until further notice. I hope to have our LIFE meeting next week but if not we can have it on the conference call like last week. God bless and keep you! Jim
