Good afternoon, LIFE does not meet tonight but please try to join us at Summer Breeze this Sunday afternoon.
As a reminder to fast and pray together tomorrow I am in prayer for our nation and the condition of God’s Church in America.
“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith.” (Hebrews 12: 1-2)
God has no use for anyone who is not hungering and thirsting for even more of Himself and His righteousness. We were a part of conducting a concert Sunday night at Whitemarsh Island Baptist Church. What a wonderful time, the place was packed as David Livingston and Eternal Vision blessed us with gospel music and the admonition of the Holy Spirit. We worshiped together for at least two hours and we soared in His Spirit. The people were wonderful and most of them were able to stay for refreshments and further fellowship. What a fine, refreshing evening, we had church! I had not seen the church come together in Christ like that in a long time. Church is supposed to be like that, fellowship and joyful worship in the power of the Holy Spirit. I read a lot of articles about the death of the church in America but let’s not forget Church is us as that is where the Holy Spirit resides now and the building is just something we use to hold our gatherings. Please pray for the church tomorrow as we fast and keep our nation before the throne as well…from the news it seems that it is a natural place for us to focus. God bless us all and remember 1 John 4: 7-8 where we are instructed to love one another, with no mention of our political differences.
