Tomorrow as we join in our fast and prayer I want to remind us of some things. A good friend of mine lost his mother this week and Joe is mourning. We’ve all been there! But this is not the mourning of which Jesus spoke in Matthew 5. He meant mourning over our sons and daughters and loved ones who have not yet reached heaven, who know nothing about the things of the Spirit of Life. It would be hard to get this spiritual mourning over lost souls without having the next thing that God says, “You shall be comforted.” When we get into the presence of God with that morning spirit, rejoice, God will bring us through. The spirit of mourning will turn into rejoicing as we are faithful before Him.
Smith Wigglesworth says. “The end of all real faith always is rejoicing.” See Psalm 30!!!
This past Sunday I made the first presentation of giving away free Bibles in a church service and we are rejoicing! Almost everyone came forward to receive a Bible. And our next date is set for May 29th.
